John Coelho, RMT

John Coelho, RMT, has been the owner/operator of Downtown Massage Therapy Clinic and a Registered Massage Therapist for over 20 years. He was introduced to this while taking studies in the sciences. Human Kinetics and Bodyworks has always interested him. John understands the demands put on the body by various work and sporting environments.

He specializes in neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, end range loading, muscle balance/postural exercise programs, deep tissue massage, and sport massage. His experience has involved treating ICBC, RCMP, DVA, MSP, acute/chronic injuries, pre/post surgical, pre/post natal, headaches/migraines, sports, repetitive strain, arthritis and geriatric patients.

John graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1993, completing over 2400 hours of massage training. He is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia and the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of British Columbia. John has worked with chiropractors and various other allied health professionals to promote a truly holistic multi-disciplinary health team with the same goal – to assist clients in returning to baseline health.
